I’m a graduate of Chemical Engineering, with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. During the course of my postgraduate studies last year, I came across the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning. I started taking courses ranging from the “Introduction to Python programming language to the basics of Machine learning/Artificial Intelligence” and working on several projects to sharpen my skills. Over the past year, I have developed valuable skills, both analytical, technical and interpersonal. I’ve regularly participated in activities such as hackathons, educational conferences, meet-ups, and volunteer roles; requiring leadership, teamwork and effective communication, fundamental and technical skills and qualities. Independent learning and time management have been two key assets in this journey and have helped me achieved certain goals and targets.
I have a strong desire to excel in the field and become a source of inspiration to others by impacting and assist to grow the community to the best of my ability. My desire to study AI and become a resourceful contributor to the field stems from my interest in innovative science and technology, as well as my belief that further innovations in intelligent, autonomous systems will change the world. It’s quite fascinating how recent developments in AI help to make lives better by providing better efficient methods and solutions to problems in the world.
I have some experience working with robotics components such as Microbit, Arduino and Raspberry pi 3, thanks to my current position as a Robotics engineer at a Firm. Participation in this boot-camp will help in boosting my skills and achieve a milestone in my career, also provide me with the valuable resources which would be very useful to the growth of AI in my community. I believe I am a well-rounded, competent applicant and look forward to being accepted.
